I was in such a hideous rut before I got my carpal tunnel, and getting that lovely affliction didn't help at all with my creative endeavors. Going to the UK cleared up the cobwebs in my head a bit, and gave me some new inspiration, or at least a new lease on art for the time being.

I want to paint again, instead of doing only illustration. Don't know how long that urge will last, but I'll go with it as long as it does. Wouldn't mind painting a few more goddesses/sorceresses/etc, like Nimue and Rhiannon.

Also, I'm going to be taking my comic in a different direction. I am no longer (well, wasn't really from the start) interested in Pasquale and the Voodoun connection. I like him well enough, but from the beginning of the comic, I kept thinking, "As soon as I get through the introduction and this part of the story that's here as a placeholder, I can get to the bits with Aiden the werewolf, the UK, Edmund's kingly inheritance, and Herne the Hunter."

It shouldn't have ever been like that. I'm going to drop Pasquale temporarily, do some rewrites, and get on with what I've been aching to do for about a year now.

Yep.
