This is an edit. I hit a deer the other day, so I need more money to pay for both my car AND for Tweak's vet bill. I have gotten one offer so far.
PLEASE, I'm willing to negotiate prices for commissions. If you can't afford a commission, can you maybe put a note in a journal somewhere that I'm looking for work, with a link back to me? It would really, really help. I'm willing to go for smaller stuff, much cheaper.
-----------------------------
I am considering taking commissions again for a short period, because Tweak had to go to the vet again. She's been shaking her head, wobbling and falling over, yowling for no reason at all, and has lost her hearing.
It could be an ear infection (or both?) or the vet says it could be anything from diabetes to renal disease to a thyroid problem. SO. I find out the bloodwork tomorrow. Tonight, I'm putting out feelers for a few commissions.
They'll be acrylics, 3/4 to whole body with very minimal background. I won't mail 'em, but I will try and get a hi-res version that you can scale down yourself and make to printing size.
Examples of the ink and water colors are:

These will be quick paintings, so the level of detail in them might not rival that of some of my personal art, but I will do my best to capture your character's personality and clothing, without any compromise of quality.
IF you're interested, I need info of your character and/or previous illustrations of said character. If it's unclear from what you send me, make sure you tell me eye, hair color, tattoos, scars, piercings, etc. Anything relevant that you think I might need to know in a paragraph or two.
I have paypal and would prefer to be paid via that, as the vet bills will be within the next couple of days, and while I have a TEENY bit in reserve in my checking account, I don't have a lot... yeah, so. There you are.
PRICE FOR COMMISSIONS:
$40, flat fee, no difference between full-body and 3/4ths, though I will choose depending on my inspiration.
Rarr. Toss 'em at me if you want.
Thanks guys! And Tweak thanks you, too, for thinking of her.

I hope she's feeling better!

I'll have to see if I can't cobble together $40 and an idea for you to do another picture for me!
I really could use an Eshu picture. I can't believe I don't have one!
I'll see what I can do!
And I don't mind Eshu at all. Just send me a note here, or via email... I just added you into my mailbox there via your other note to me. Heheh.
