**If you FAVE ... please COMMENT**

My latest. The Deer Mother is card two in my imaginary oracle deck I'll probably never finish.

Not only does she symbolize a caring mother figure, she represents, like the magnolia flower with her, innocence, beauty, perseverance, nobility and dignity.

Acrylics on wood.

**If you FAVE... PLEASE COMMENT**

PS, I hate putting this under "anthro." Eewwww.

Beautiful. I love the glowing flower and how soft and round she looks. You really outdid yourself with the skin this time :3

Ha, most of that is down to the grain in the wood, not me! But thank you!

:) She was originally supposed to be based on my mother-- so that look carried across, I guess.

I keep of words to say, but I think the ones you listed were perfect. It's that perfect balance of innocence and dignity that makes her beautiful, I think ^_^

And I love her fingertips! What a great touch for making her more deer-like, without losing her human grace.

Thank you! I used to do a race of deer folk called the Selenthians. They're somewhere around in my gallery-- but they're the ones who I started putting deer hoof-fingernails on. :)
