Artist's Comments

In Native American lore, there's a malicious little ghost/spirit of a girl who died from disease, and comes down from the mountains to spread sickness and misery to people, especially children.

Here's my rendition of her. I went with green just as a theme, not because she's described necessarily as such... wanted it to fit in with Nimue, a few pictures back.

Love the.....how to describe it? Sort of a 'sickly glow' like an aura of disease.

Creepy story! I'll have to read up on that. I do love how you've got her posed. . .hands drawn in like she's just a vulnerable little girl, but then she's got that evil as hell expression on her face. I'm scared!
:iconnibblekat:
Heee.

I tried for scary, but I'm not the best at macabre, always, so thank you.

Nice colors and composition. The green and yellow really add a diseased look.

before i even read the description, her expression told the whole story. it's great ! and the green/yellow color really works in many ways.

yaaayyyy! paint paint
I like the really saturated yellow-greens, besides the fact that it makes her look diseased it looks like some sort of freakishly awesome moss :iconheeplz:
